How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. C Tax-O XL 200 Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.Take it preferably 1 to 2 hours before food.
Driving C Tax-O XL 200 Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Kidney C Tax-O XL 200 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of C Tax-O XL 200 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Regular monitoring of kidney function tests is advised while taking this medicine.
Liver C Tax-O XL 200 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of C Tax-O XL 200 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Regular monitoring of liver function tests is advised while taking this medicine.
Mechanism of action C Tax-O XL 200 Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Cefixime, Cloxacillin and Lactobacillus. Cefixime and Cloxacillin are antibiotics which work by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Together, they treat your infection effectively. Lactobacillus is a live micro-organism which restores the balance of good bacteria in the intestine that may get upset with antibiotic use or due to intestinal infections.
