Pregnancy Interaction Brimofine Eye Drop is probably safe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction Brimofine Eye Drop is probably safe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.To reduce the amount of Brimofine Eye Drop that reaches the breastmilk, place pressure over the corner of the eye for 1 minute or more, then remove the excess solution with an absorbent tissue.
Expert Advice Helps lower high pressure in the eye and reduces the risk of vision loss. For best results, put one drop 2-3 times daily in the affected eye(s). Brimofine may cause allergic reaction in the form of eyelid swelling, eye discomfort, foreign-object sensation, redness and itching. Notify your doctor if any of these occur. Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute, immediately after instilling the drop. This minimizes the risk of side effects. Take care to prevent contact of eye dispenser with eye, eyelid, eyelashes, or finger to avoid infection. Remove contact lenses before using Betagan and allow at least 15 minutes before re-inserting them. When applying multiple eye medications, wait for at least 5-15 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution.

How to Use This medicine is for external use only.Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye/ear without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid or ear. Wipe off extra liquid.
Driving Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Brimofine Eye Drop may cause blurred or abnormal vision. This effect may seem worse at night or in reduced lighting and this may affect the ability to drive.
Kidney There is limited information available on the use of Brimofine Eye Drop in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.
Liver There is limited information available on the use of Brimofine Eye Drop in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action Brimofine Eye Drop decreases the pressure in the eyeball by decreasing the formation of aqueous humor (clear watery fluid filling the space in front of an eyeball ).
