How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Biodox LB Capsule is to be taken with food.
Driving Biodox LB Capsule may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.Visual disturbances such as blurring of vision may occur during treatment with doxycycline.
Kidney There is limited information available on the use of Biodox LB Capsule in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Biodox LB Capsule should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Biodox LB Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action Biodox LB Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Doxycycline and Lactobacillus. Doxycycline is an antibiotic which stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Lactobacillus is a live microorganism which restores the balance of good bacteria in the intestine that may get upset with antibiotic use or due to intestinal infections.
