Pregnancy Interaction Bidin LS TM Eye Drop may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction Bidin LS TM Eye Drop is probably safe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.To reduce the amount of Bidin LS TM Eye Drop that reaches the breastmilk, place pressure over the corner of the eye for 1 minute or more, then remove the excess solution with an absorbent tissue.
Common Side Effect Itching, Stinging sensation, Foreign body sensation, Burning sensation in eye, Eye redness, Blurred vision, Tiredness, Drowsiness, Headache, Dryness in mouth.
How to Use This medicine is for external use only.Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye/ear without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid or ear. Wipe off extra liquid.
Driving Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Bidin LS TM Eye Drop may cause blurred or abnormal vision. This effect may seem worse at night or in reduced lighting and this may affect the ability to drive.
Kidney Bidin LS TM Eye Drop is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Bidin LS TM Eye Drop may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Bidin LS TM Eye Drop should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Bidin LS TM Eye Drop may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action Bidin LS TM Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines: Timolol and Brimonidine.tTimolol is a beta blocker while Brimonidine is a sympathomimetic. They work by decreasing the production of aqueous humour (fluid in the eye), thereby lowering the increased eye pressure.
