Pregnancy Interaction Biclox D Capsule is probably safe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction Biclox D Capsule is safe to use during lactation. \nHuman studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
Common Side Effect Rash, Vomiting, Allergic reaction, Stomach pain, Nausea, Diarrhoea.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Biclox D Capsule is to be taken empty stomach.Take it preferably half to one hour before food.
Driving It is not known whether Biclox D Capsule alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Kidney Biclox D Capsule should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Biclox D Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver There is limited information available on the use of Biclox D Capsule in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action Biclox D Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Ampicillin and Dicloxacillin. They work by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Together, they eradicate your infection effectively.
