Common Side Effect Nausea, Stomach pain, Diarrhoea, Headache, Fatigue, Dyspepsia, Upper respiratory tract infection, Dizziness, Itching, Flushing of skin, Increased bleeding tendency.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Aspitrate 60mg/150mg Capsule is to be taken with food.
Driving Aspitrate 60mg/150mg Capsule may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
Kidney Aspitrate 60mg/150mg Capsule should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Aspitrate 60mg/150mg Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Aspitrate 60mg/150mg Capsule is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Liver Aspitrate 60mg/150mg Capsule is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Aspitrate 60mg/150mg Capsule may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action Aspitrate 60mg/150mg Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Isosorbide Mononitrate and Aspirin which prevent future episodes of angina. Isosorbide mononitrate dilates the blood vessels of the body. As a result, work load on the heart is reduced which in turn decreases heart-related chest pain. Aspirin is an antiplatelet medicine. It prevents the platelets from sticking together and decreases the formation of harmful blood clots.
