Alchohol Interaction Taking Aspirin with alcohol increases the associated risk of stomach bleeding.
Pregnancy Interaction Aspisol 150 Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction Aspisol 150 Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Common Side Effect Stomach pain, Indigestion, Diarrhoea, Increased bleeding tendency.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Aspisol 150 Tablet is to be taken with food.
Driving Aspisol 150 Tablet may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
Kidney Aspisol 150 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Aspisol 150 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Aspisol 150 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Aspisol 150 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action Aspisol 150 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: aspirin and glycine. Aspirin is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with anti-platelet action. It works by preventing platelets from sticking together which decreases the formation of harmful blood clots. Glycine is a natural amino acid which reduces the harmful effects of aspirin by preventing acid build-up and damage to stomach lining.
