Alchohol Interaction It is generally safe to consume alcohol with Aromac 500mg Tablet.
Pregnancy Interaction Aromac 500mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction Aromac 500mg Tablet is safe to use during lactation. \nHuman studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.There may be a possibility of diarrhea or rash in the baby.
Expert Advice Aromac will cure your infection and improve symptoms. It may cause an upset stomach. If this happens to you, take it with food. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools. Do not take antacids 2 hours before or after taking Aromac.

How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Aromac 500mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Take it with food if you are experiencing stomach upset.Avoid Aromac 500mg Tablet with tyramine-rich food such as cheese, smoked fish, meats and some types of beer.
Driving Aromac 500mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Kidney Aromac 500mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Aromac 500mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Aromac 500mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Aromac 500mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action Aromac 500mg Tablet is a macrolide antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins, which are required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.
