Alchohol Interaction Zipvert Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
Pregnancy Interaction Zipvert Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Common Side Effect Nausea, Dyspepsia, Weight gain, Drowsiness, Sleepiness, Dizziness, Weakness, Decreased blood pressure, Coordination impaired, Impaired concentration.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Zipvert Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.
Driving Zipvert Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.

Liver There is limited information available on the use of Zipvert Tablet in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action Zipvert Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Cinnarizine and Dimenhydrinate.tCinnarizine is calcium channel antagonist which works by preventing constriction of the blood vessels of the inner ear. This improves the microcirculation of the ear. Dimenhydrinate is an antiallergic. It blocks the action of a chemical messenger (histamine) that is responsible for motion sickness.
