| How to Use | Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a marked dropper and take it as directed. Zicon Drop may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. |
| Driving | Zicon Drop may cause blurring of your vision for a short time just after its use. Do not drive until your vision is clear. |
| Kidney | Zicon Drop is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Zicon Drop may not be needed in these patients. | Mechanism of action | Zicon Drop is a combination of two medicines: Naphazoline and Chlorpheniramine which relieve eye itching/discomfort caused by allergies. Naphazoline is a decongestant which works by narrowing blood vessels of the eye to relieve inflammation. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic which blocks the action of certain chemical messengers responsible for red, itchy, teary eyes. |
