Lactation Interaction Zicon Drop is probably safe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.Larger doses or prolonged use of Zicon Drop may cause sleepiness and other effects in the baby
Common Side Effect Burning eyes, Stinging in the eyes.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a marked dropper and take it as directed. Zicon Drop may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Driving Zicon Drop may cause blurring of your vision for a short time just after its use. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
Kidney Zicon Drop is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Zicon Drop may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.Use of Zicon Drop may cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.
Liver There is limited information available on the use of Zicon Drop in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action Zicon Drop is a combination of two medicines: Naphazoline and Chlorpheniramine which relieve eye itching/discomfort caused by allergies. Naphazoline is a decongestant which works by narrowing blood vessels of the eye to relieve inflammation. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic which blocks the action of certain chemical messengers responsible for red, itchy, teary eyes.
