| How to Use | Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. AA HA Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Take it with food if stomach upset occurs. |

| Mechanism of action | AA HA Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Bromhexine, dextromethorphan and phenylephrine which relieve cough. Bromhexine is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of cough centre in the brain. Phenylephrine is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose. |
