| Common Side Effect | Nausea, Altered taste, Stomach pain, Indigestion, Diarrhoea, Cough, Headache, Dizziness, Weakness, Decreased blood pressure, Increased potassium level in blood. |
| How to Use | Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Adpep R Tablet is to be taken empty stomach. |
| Driving | Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Adpep R Tablet usually does not affect alertness but dizziness or weakness due to low blood pressure may occur in some patients. This may affect your driving ability. |
| Kidney | Adpep R Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Adpep R Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Caution should be advised in patients with renal impairment. |
| Liver | Adpep R Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Adpep R Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Adpep R Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease. |
| Mechanism of action | Adpep R Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Perindopril and losartan which lower blood pressure effectively. Perindopril is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor and losartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). They work by widening and relaxing the blood vessels, thereby lowering blood pressure. |
