How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Dissolve it in a glass of water before taking it. Acticlox Tablet DT may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Take it with food, if it causes stomach upset
Driving Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Acticlox Tablet DT can have side effects and the symptoms (such as allergic reactions, dizziness and convulsions) may make you unfit to drive.
Kidney Acticlox Tablet DT should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Acticlox Tablet DT may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Regular monitoring of kidney function tests is advised while taking this medicine.
Liver Acticlox Tablet DT should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Acticlox Tablet DT may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Regular monitoring of liver function tests is advised while taking this medicine.
Mechanism of action Acticlox Tablet DT is a combination of three medicines: Amoxicillin, Cloxacillin, and Lactobacillus. Amoxicillin and Cloxacillin are antibiotics which work by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering that is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Together, they eradicate your infection effectively. Lactobacillus is a live microorganism which restores the balance of good bacteria in the intestine that may get upset with antibiotic use or due to intestinal infections.
