Lactation Interaction Vitaferol Sachet should be used with caution during lactation. \nBreast feeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.

How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Empty the granules in a glass of water/milk, stir it and consume immediately.
Driving Vitaferol Sachet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Kidney There is limited information available on the use of Vitaferol Sachet in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Vitaferol Sachet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Vitaferol Sachet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Dose adjustment of Vitaferol Sachet is not recommended in patients with mild to moderate liver disease.
Mechanism of action Vitaferol Sachet is a combination of two medicines: Ceftriaxone and Sulbactam. Ceftriaxone is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Sulbactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Ceftriaxone against bacteria.
