Lactation Interaction | Travotim Eye Drop is probably safe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.To reduce the amount of Travotim Eye Drop that reaches the breastmilk, place pressure over the corner of the eye for 1 minute or more, then remove the excess solution with an absorbent tissue. |

How to Use | This medicine is for external use only.Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye/ear without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid or ear. Wipe off extra liquid. |
Driving | Travotim Eye Drop may cause blurring of your vision for a short time just after its use. Do not drive until your vision is clear. |
Kidney | Travotim Eye Drop is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Travotim Eye Drop may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor. |
Liver | Travotim Eye Drop should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Travotim Eye Drop may be needed. Please consult your doctor. |
Mechanism of action | Travotim Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines: Timolol and Travoprost (topical).tTimolol is a prostaglandin analogue while Travoprost (topical) is a beta blocker. They work by decreasing the production of aqueous humour (fluid in the eye), thereby lowering the increased eye pressure. |
