| Lactation Interaction | Tigatel 2mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby. |
| Expert Advice | Inform your doctor before taking tiagabine if you have mild to moderate liver disorders or intolerance to some sugars. Consult your doctor if you notice increase in the number and severity of seizures, appearance of skin rashes, pimples or blisters, anxiety, depression or visual disorders. Do not drive a vehicle or operate heavy machinery after taking this drug as it may cause dizziness, sleepiness or tiredness. Do not stop the treatment with tiagabine without consulting your doctor as it may lead to recurrence of seizures. Inform your doctor before taking the drug if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or breastfeeding. |

| How to Use | Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tigatel 2mg Tablet is to be taken with food. |
| Driving | Tigatel 2mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive. |
| Kidney | Tigatel 2mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Tigatel 2mg Tablet is recommended. |
| Liver | Tigatel 2mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Tigatel 2mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Tigatel 2mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease. |
| Mechanism of action | Tigatel 2mg Tablet controls seizures by increasing the levels of GABA, a chemical messenger which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain. |
