| Lactation Interaction | Tenoric -50 Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby. |

| How to Use | Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tenoric -50 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.This medicine is preferably taken in the morning or 4 hours before bedtime to avoid frequent urination during the night. |
| Driving | Tenoric -50 Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive. |
| Kidney | Tenoric -50 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Tenoric -50 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Regular monitoring of blood pressure is recommended and can help in better dose adjustment. |
| Liver | Tenoric -50 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Tenoric -50 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Tenoric -50 Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease. |
| Mechanism of action | Tenoric -50 Tablet is a combination of two blood-pressure lowering medicines: Atenolol and Chlorthalidone. tAtenolol is a beta blocker which works specifically on the heart to reduce heart rate and make the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body. Chlorthalidone is a diuretic which lowers blood pressure by removing extra water and certain electrolytes from the body. Over time it also relaxes blood vessels and improves blood flow. |
