Lactation Interaction Stamace 5 mg/5 mg Capsule is probably safe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Common Side Effect Decreased blood pressure, Sleepiness, Altered taste, Headache, Ankle swelling, Flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck and trunk), Tiredness, Palpitations, Increased potassium level in blood, Cough, Stomach upset.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Stamace 5 mg/5 mg Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Driving Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Stamace 5 mg/5 mg Capsule may cause side effects such as dizziness, headaches, nausea or tiredness, all of which could affect your ability to concentrate and drive.
Kidney Stamace 5 mg/5 mg Capsule should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Stamace 5 mg/5 mg Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Regular monitoring of blood pressure is recommended for dose adjustment.
Liver Stamace 5 mg/5 mg Capsule should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Stamace 5 mg/5 mg Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Inform your doctor if you develop any signs and symptoms of jaundice while taking this medicine.
Mechanism of action Stamace 5 mg/5 mg Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Amlodipine and ramipril which lower blood pressure effectively. It works by relaxing blood vessels so that blood flows more smoothly and the heart can pump blood more efficiently.
