| How to Use | Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Solvin 30mg/4mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Take it with food if stomach upset occurs. |

| Mechanism of action | Solvin 30mg/4mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Chlorpheniramine and Dextromethorphan which relieve dry cough. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic which helps reduce cough associated with allergies by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger, histamine. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant which relieves cough by reducing the activity of cough centre in the brain. |
