Alchohol Interaction Taking Ondansetron+Paracetamol / Acetaminophen with alcohol can cause liver damage.
Pregnancy Interaction Satron Plus 4 mg/500 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction Satron Plus 4 mg/500 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Common Side Effect Diarrhoea, Fatigue, Constipation, Allergic reaction, Headache, Flushing of skin.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Satron Plus 4 mg/500 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Driving Satron Plus 4 mg/500 mg Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Kidney Satron Plus 4 mg/500 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Satron Plus 4 mg/500 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.However, Satron Plus 4 mg/500 mg Tablet contains paracetamol which is considered the safest painkiller for kidney disease patients.
Liver Satron Plus 4 mg/500 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Satron Plus 4 mg/500 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.However, the use of Satron Plus 4 mg/500 mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.
Mechanism of action Satron Plus 4 mg/500 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: ondansetron and paracetamol. Satron Plus 4 mg/500 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: ondansetron and paracetamol. Ondansetron is an antiemetic (anti-nausea medicine). It inhibits the action of serotonin, a chemical messenger that can trigger nausea and vomiting. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and fever.
