Pregnancy Interaction Daxin 0.25mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction Daxin 0.25mg Tablet is safe to use during lactation. \nHuman studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
Expert Advice Your doctor has prescribed Sangoxin to decrease the heart rate and treat heart failure symptoms. Take Sangoxin at the same time every day. Notify your doctor about other medicines you're taking to avoid drug interactions. Symptoms of overdose include slow heartbeat, dizziness, lightheadedness and breathing problems. Overdose may occur more quickly if you are dehydrated. Hence, drink plenty of water while taking this medication. Do not discontinue use without consulting your doctor even if you feel better. Stopping abruptly could worsen your condition. Headache, nausea, diarrhoea and dizziness may occur as side effects.

How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Daxin 0.25mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Driving Daxin 0.25mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear..
Kidney Sangoxin 0.25mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Sangoxin 0.25mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Regular monitoring of kidney function tests, potassium, magnesium and calcium levels is advisable while you are taking this medicine.
Liver Sangoxin 0.25mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Sangoxin 0.25mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action Sangoxin 0.25mg Tablet is a cardiac glycoside. It works by correcting irregular heartbeat to a normal rhythm and increases the force with which the heart muscle contracts with every heartbeat. This makes the heart pump more efficiently and increases blood circulation throughout the body.
