Lactation Interaction Rhutrax 10mg Tablet is unsafe to use during lactation. \nData suggests that the drug may cause toxicity to the baby, or the mother is suffering from a condition in which breastfeeding is not advisable.
Expert Advice For autoimmune diseases, Rhutrax is taken by mouth, once a week (not every day) on the same day each week. It can take 2 to 3 weeks for Rhutrax to start working. Notify your doctor immediately if you develop a sore throat or fever (infection), bruising or bleeding, nausea, abdominal pain or dark urine or difficulty breathing. Your doctor may ask to get complete blood count (CBC), kidney function test (KFT) and liver function test (LFT) before starting treatment and thereafter also. Rhutrax may harm your unborn babies or cause miscarriages. You and your partner should avoid conception (becoming pregnant or fathering children) for at least three months after your treatment with Rhutrax has stopped. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to conceive or breastfeeding. Inform your doctor if you have ever been diagnosed with kidney or liver problems.
Common Side Effect Nausea, Vomiting, Loss of appetite, Dyspepsia, Abdominal pain, Increased liver enzymes, Stomatitis (Inflammation of the mouth).
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Rhutrax 10mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
Driving Rhutrax 10mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
Kidney Rhutrax 10mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Rhutrax 10mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Regular monitoring of kidney function test is advised while you are taking this medicine.
Liver Rhutrax 10mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Rhutrax 10mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Rhutrax 10mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
