Expert Advice Ralop should be used together with an oral rehydration solution (ORS) to provide adequate fluid and electrolyte replacement. Don't use Ralop, if you have blood and pus in the stools or fever. This may be due to bacterial infection and may need different treatment. Not recommended to be taken more than 7 days. Inform your doctor if you have ever been diagnosed with kidney or liver problems. Don't use Ralop, if you have uncontrolled vomiting. Don't use Ralop in children less than 3 months. Not approved for adult and children above 13 years. Ralop sachet should be taken orally, directly or mixed with water. Make sure it is mixed well, and then give the total dose immediately to your child.
Common Side Effect Vomiting, Fever.
How to Use Use this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Ralop Powder is to be taken with food.
Driving Ralop Powder does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Kidney Ralop Powder should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Ralop Powder may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Ralop Powder should be avoided in children with underlying kidney disease.
Liver Ralop Powder should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Ralop Powder may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action Ralop Powder has an anti-secretory effect. It reduces the secretion of water and electrolytes from the intestine. This helps to reduce the amount of fluid loss from the body in diarrhoea.
