Alchohol Interaction Taking Propranolol with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.
Pregnancy Interaction Propenol 10mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction Propenol 10mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Expert Advice Propenol may cause dizziness and lightheadedness. To avoid this, get up slowly after sitting or lying down. The Propenol may affect your blood sugar and cover up the symptoms of low blood sugar if you have diabetes. Propenol may reduce blood flow to your hands and feet, causing them to feel cold. Smoking may worsen this effect. Dress warmly and avoid the use of tobacco. Consult your doctor whether to continue Propenol before any scheduled surgery. Propenol 10mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.Avoid Propenol 10mg Tablet with high-fat meals such as olive oil, nuts & seeds (Brazil nuts), dark chocolate, butter and meat.
Driving Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Propenol 10mg Tablet may cause visual disturbances, hallucinations, fatigue, mental confusion, dizziness or tiredness. This may affect your driving ability.
Kidney Propenol 10mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Propenol 10mg Tablet is recommended.However, inform your doctor if you have any kidney disease. Propenol 10mg Tablet may be started with a low dose and then increased further. Regular monitoring of blood pressure is advisable for dose adjustment.
