Alchohol Interaction Risperdal 3 Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
Pregnancy Interaction Risperdal 3 Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction Risperdal 3 Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Expert Advice Works well in schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. You may feel dizziness and drowsiness when you start taking Risperdal. For the first week, avoid activities that require you to be alert. Risperdal may cause weight gain, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and high blood sugar. Tell your doctor if you have any unusual thoughts or behavior, inability to control muscle movements, or fever and excess sweating. Some people may experience severe muscle problem on taking high doses or on long-term use. Tell your doctor if you’re one of them.

How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Risperdal 3 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Driving Risperdal 3 Tablet may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
Kidney Risperdal 3 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Risperdal 3 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Risperdal 3 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Risperdal 3 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
