Pregnancy Interaction Naselin Nasal Spray may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction Naselin Nasal Spray is probably safe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.To reduce the amount of XYNOLUBE 0.1% DROPS that reaches the breastmilk, remove the excess solution with an absorbent tissue.
Expert Advice Do not take oxymetazoline if you have high blood pressure, heart disease including previous episodes of pain and discomfort in the chest, diabetes mellitus, thyroid problems, liver or kidney disorders and non-cancerous enlargement of prostate; hallucinations (seeing, hearing or feeling things that are not really there), restlessness, sleep disturbances; increased pressure in the eyes (glaucoma). Avoid taking this oxymetazoline if you have redness and swelling of the lining of your nose, or have scabs in your nose. Do not take oxymetazoline if you have a recent nose surgery or surgery to remove the pituitary gland; or tumor of adrenal glands (pheochromocytoma) that causes episodic or persistent rise in blood pressure. Take oxymetazoline nose drops for a maximum of 7 consecutive days to avoid rebound effect and drug induced rhinitis (runny nose).

How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a marked dropper and take it as directed. XYNOLUBE 0.1% DROPS may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Driving Naselin Nasal Drop does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Kidney There is limited information available on the use of XYNOLUBE 0.1% DROPS in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.
Liver There is limited information available on the use of Naselin Nasal Drop in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action Naselin Nasal Dropis a nasal decongestant. It narrows the small blood vessels, which provide temporary relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose.
