Alchohol Interaction Tinidil 250 mg/300 mg/25 mg Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heartbeat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure with alcohol (Disulfiram reactions).
Pregnancy Interaction Tinidil 250 mg/300 mg/25 mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Driving Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Tinidil 250 mg/300 mg/25 mg Tablet may make you feel drowsy or gives you problems with coordination or sensation (e.g. numbness or weakness). This may affect your driving ability.
Kidney There is limited information available on the use of Tinidil 250 mg/300 mg/25 mg Tablet in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Tinidil 250 mg/300 mg/25 mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Tinidil 250 mg/300 mg/25 mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action Tinidil 250 mg/300 mg/25 mg Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Diloxanide, tinidazole and simethicone. Diloxanide is a luminal amoebicide which acts inside the intestines to kill the infection-causing microorganisms (amoeba). Diloxanide is combined with tinidazole in case of severe intestinal infections. Tinidazole is an antibiotic which kills bacteria and other infectious microorganisms by damaging the DNA. Simethicone is an antifoaming medicine which disintegrates gas bubbles and allows easy passage of gas.
