| Expert Advice | Your doctor has prescribed Novadox to cure your infection and improve symptoms. Take Novadox with food and plenty of fluids to avoid an upset stomach and acid reflux. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not take calcium, antacids or iron at least 2 hours before or 6 hours after taking Novadox. Discontinue Novadox and inform your doctor immediately if you get a rash, itchy skin, swelling of face and mouth, or have difficulty in breathing. Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools. |

| How to Use | Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Novadox 100mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.Take this medicine one hour before food or two hours after food, with a full glass of water. You can take this medicine with food if it upsets your stomach.Avoid Novadox 100mg Tablet with dairy products such as milk, cheese, curd, butter, paneer and ice cream. |
| Driving | Doxyt 100mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.Visual disturbances such as blurring of vision may occur during treatment with doxycycline. |
| Kidney | Doxyt 100mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Novadox 100mg Tablet is recommended.However, talk to your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease. |
| Liver | Doxyt 100mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Novadox 100mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. |
| Mechanism of action | Doxyt 100mg Tablet is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins, which are required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. |
