Alchohol Interaction	Taking Losartan with alcohol may excessively lower the blood pressure.
Pregnancy Interaction	Elram Forte Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction	Elram Forte Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Common Side Effect	Nausea, Altered taste, Stomach pain, Diarrhoea, Indigestion, Cough, Headache, Dizziness, Weakness, Increased potassium level in blood, Decreased blood pressure.
How to Use	Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Elram Forte Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Driving	Elram Forte Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Kidney	Elram Forte Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Elram Forte Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Regular monitoring of blood pressure is recommended for dose adjustment.
Liver	Elram Forte Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Elram Forte Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Elram Forte Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
Mechanism of action	Elram Forte Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Ramipril and losartan which lower blood pressure effectively. Ramipril is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor and losartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). They work by widening and relaxing the blood vessels, thereby lowering blood pressure.
