| How to Use | Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Zetcet Plus 500mg/25mg/2mg/30mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Take it with food if stomach upset occurs. |
| Driving | Zetcet Plus 500mg/25mg/2mg/30mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive. |
| Kidney | Zetcet Plus 500mg/25mg/2mg/30mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Zetcet Plus 500mg/25mg/2mg/30mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.Use of Zetcet Plus 500mg/25mg/2mg/30mg Tablet may cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease. |

| Mechanism of action | Zetcet Plus 500mg/25mg/2mg/30mg Tablet is a combination of four medicines: Paracetamol / Acetaminophen, Phenylpropanolamine, Chlorpheniramine and Caffeine which relieve common cold symptoms. Paracetamol / Acetaminophen is a analgesic (pain reliever) and anti-pyretic (fever reducer) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that causes fever and pain. Phenylpropanolamine is a decongestant. It narrows blood vessels in the nose to relieve congestion. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Caffeine increases the effectiveness of Paracetamol / Acetaminophen and decreases sleepiness due to Chlorpheniramine. |
