| Expert Advice | You have been prescribed this combination medicine as it can control blood sugar better than metformin alone. Blood sugar is controlled throughout the day, including after meals. Chances of weight gain and low blood sugar are lesser as compared to other diabetes medicines. Take with meals to lower your chance of having an upset stomach. Monitor your blood sugar regularly. Tell your doctor immediately if you experience any deep or rapid breathing, or persistent nausea, vomiting, and stomach pain. |

| Kidney | ZITA MET TABLET 50MG/1000MG should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of ZITA MET TABLET 50MG/1000MG may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of ZITA MET TABLET 50MG/1000MG is, however, not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. Regular monitoring of kidney function test is advisable while you are taking this medicine. |
| Liver | ZITA MET TABLET 50MG/1000MG is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of ZITA MET TABLET 50MG/1000MG may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor. |
