Alchohol Interaction Sicreptin 1.25mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
Pregnancy Interaction Sicreptin 1.25mg Tablet is probably safe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction Sicreptin 1.25mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.Sicreptin 1.25mg Tablet is usually not used during breastfeeding because it suppresses lactation.
Expert Advice Inform your doctor if you have ever been diagnosed with any heart problems (high blood pressure, heart attack, heart failure, slow or irregular heart rate). Regular monitoring of heart function (tests like echocardiogram) may be advised while on treatment with Sicreptin.
Common Side Effect Nausea, Vomiting, Headache, Dizziness, Fatigue.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Sicreptin 1.25mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
Driving Dizziness or weakness due to low blood pressure may occur in some patients while on Sicreptin 1.25mg Tablet. If you are affected in this way, your ability to drive may be impaired.

Liver There is limited information available on the use of Sicreptin 1.25mg Tablet in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.However, a cautious use of this medicine is advised in these patients.

It treats acromegaly by decreasing the amount of growth hormone in the body. Researchers don't know how exactly it works in diabetes mellitus.
