Pregnancy Interaction Colcibra 100mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction Colcibra 100mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Expert Advice It can be taken with or without food. Colcibra may cause fewer stomach problems as compared with other NSAIDs like Ibuprofen or Naproxen. It can also affect kidneys or cause permanent kidney damage if taken for a long time. Colcibra can raise your risk of blood clots, heart attack, or a stroke. Inform your doctor if you have ever been diagnosed with kidney or liver problems. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to conceive or breastfeeding.
Common Side Effect Abdominal pain, Palpitations, Nausea, Vomiting, Headache, Gastritis, Heartburn, Edema (swelling), Dyspepsia, Flatulence, Increased blood pressure, Dizziness, Constipation, Diarrhoea.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Colcibra 100mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Driving Colcibra 100mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Kidney Colcibra 100mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Colcibra 100mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Colcibra 100mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Liver Colcibra 100mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Colcibra 100mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Colcibra 100mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease. Inform your doctor and stop taking this medicine if you develop any signs of liver toxicity.
Mechanism of action Colcibra 100mg Tablet is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) called COX-2 inhibitors. It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that are responsible pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).
