Lactation Interaction Angizem 60mg Tablet is safe to use during lactation. \nHuman studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
Expert Advice It is very common to have dizziness, lightheadedness, swelling ankles/feet, flushing, or a headache as a side effect. To lower your risk of dizziness and lightheadedness, get up slowly when rising from a sitting or lying position. Inform your doctor if you have developed constipation during treatment with Angizem. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to conceive or breastfeeding. Inform your doctor if you have ever been diagnosed with any heart problems (heart attack, heart failure, slow or irregular heart rate). Inform your doctor if you have ever been diagnosed with kidney or liver problems.
Common Side Effect Headache, Nausea, Fatigue, Dizziness, Feeling of discomfort, Dyspepsia, Stomach pain, Peripheral edema, Constipation, Redness of skin, Flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck and trunk).
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Angizem 60mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Driving Angizem 60mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Kidney Angizem 60mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Angizem 60mg Tablet is recommended.However, talk to your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease. Regular monitoring of kidney function test is advised while you are taking this medicine.
Liver Angizem 60mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Angizem 60mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action Angizem 60mg Tablet is a calcium channel blocker. It blocks the action of calcium on the heart and blood vessels. This effect reduces blood pressure and abnormally fast heartbeat which lowers strain and oxygen requirement of the heart.
