Lactation Interaction Glybose M 500 mg/0.2 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.

How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Glybose M 500 mg/0.2 mg Tablet is to be taken with food.Glybose M 500 mg/0.2 mg Tablet may cause stomach upset if taken on empty stomach.
Driving Your ability to drive may be affected if your blood sugar is low or high. If this happens, do not drive.
Kidney Glybose M 500 mg/0.2 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Glybose M 500 mg/0.2 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Glybose M 500 mg/0.2 mg Tablet is, however, not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. Regular monitoring of kidney function test is advisable while you are taking this medicine.
Liver Glybose M 500 mg/0.2 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Glybose M 500 mg/0.2 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Glybose M 500 mg/0.2 mg Tablet is generally started with low dose in patients with mild to moderate liver disease and its use is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
Mechanism of action Glybose M 500 mg/0.2 mg Tablet is a combination of two antidiabetic medicines: Metformin and voglibose. Metformin lowers the production and absorption of sugar in your body and allows better use of existing insulin. Voglibose inhibits the intestinal enzymes that cause breakdown of complex sugars into simple sugars such as glucose. This prevents blood glucose from rising very high after meals.
