Alchohol Interaction Taking Torsamide with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.
Pregnancy Interaction Dytor Plus LS Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction Dytor Plus LS Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Common Side Effect Dehydration, Decreased magnesium level in blood, Decreased sodium level in blood, Increased blood uric acid, Breast enlargement in male, Decreased calcium level in blood.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Dytor Plus LS Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Driving Dytor Plus LS Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Kidney Dytor Plus LS Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Dytor Plus LS Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Dytor Plus LS Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Liver Dytor Plus LS Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Dytor Plus LS Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action Dytor Plus LS Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Spironolactone and Torasemide. Spironolactone and torasemide. They act on different parts of your kidney to get remove extra water and certain electrolytes, while maintaining the potassium balance in your body.
