| Driving | Your ability to drive may be affected if your blood sugar is low or high. If this happens, do not drive. |
| Kidney | Ondero Met 850mg/2.5mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Ondero Met 850mg/2.5mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Ondero Met 850mg/2.5mg Tablet is, however, not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. Regular monitoring of kidney function test is advisable while you are taking this medicine. |

| Mechanism of action | Ondero Met 850mg/2.5mg Tablet is a combination of two antidiabetic medicines: Metformin and Linagliptin. Metformin is an anti-diabetic medication (biguanide). It works by lowering glucose production in the liver, delaying glucose absorption from intestines and increasing the body's sensitivity to insulin. Linagliptin is a DPP-4 inhibitor which works by increasing the release of insulin from the pancreas and decreasing the hormones that raise blood sugar levels. This reduces both fasting and postmeal sugar levels. Together, they provide better control of blood sugar. |
