Pregnancy Interaction Laz Plus 100 mg/125 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction Laz Plus 100 mg/125 mg Tablet is safe to use during lactation. \nHuman studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.There may be a possibility of diarrhea or rash in the baby.
Common Side Effect Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Stomach pain, Loss of appetite, Indigestion, Flatulence.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Laz Plus 100 mg/125 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Driving Laz Plus 100 mg/125 mg Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Kidney Laz Plus 100 mg/125 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Laz Plus 100 mg/125 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Mechanism of action Laz Plus 100 mg/125 mg Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics: Cefixime and Azithromycin. Cefixime works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Azithromycin stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.
