| Expert Advice | Do not drive or use machinery after taking melatonin since it can make you feel drowsy. Smoking may make melatonin less effective since it can increase the metabolism (breakdown) of melatonin by the liver. Alcohol reduces the effectiveness of melatonin so must be avoided before, during or after taking melatonin. Do not take melatonin if you are allergic to melatonin or any of the other ingredients of this medicine. Do not take melatonin if you are suffering from liver or kidney problems; if you have intolerance to some sugars; or have been suffering from an autoimmune disease (where the body is ‘attacked’ by its own immune system). |
| How to Use | Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Melaquick 3mg Tablet is to be taken with food. |

| Liver | Melaquick 3mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Melaquick 3mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.There is very limited experience on use of Melaquick 3mg Tablet in patients with underlying liver disease. |
