Pregnancy Interaction Ceastra 100mg Tablet XL may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction Ceastra 100mg Tablet XL is probably unsafe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Expert Advice Your doctor has prescribed Ceastra to cure your infection and improve symptoms. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not take it with any heartburn medications - especially proton pump inhibitors and H2 blockers. Requires an acidic pH for absorption. Hence, take it with a full meal for best results. Notify your doctor if you have taken steroids recently.
