Alchohol Interaction Phylobid 200mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
Pregnancy Interaction Phylobid 200mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction Phylobid 200mg Tablet is safe to use during lactation. \nHuman studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.Avoiding breastfeeding for 2-4 hours after Phylobid 200mg Tablet can further decrease the exposure of medicine to the baby.
Expert Advice It is better to take Phylobid in the evening around 7-8 pm for protection against asthma symptoms throughout the night. Phylobid will not work for sudden wheezing or asthma attacks once they start. Always keep a fast-acting (rescue) inhaler with you. Not as effective as steroid inhalers for asthma. Do not discontinue use without consulting your doctor even if you feel better. Notify your doctor if you have ever been diagnosed with the kidney, liver or heart disease, or have a smoking history. Your dose may need to be adjusted. Taking Phylobid can reduce the requirement of steroids by 50%.

Driving Phylobid 200mg Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Kidney Phylobid 200mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Phylobid 200mg Tablet is recommended.
Liver Phylobid 200mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Phylobid 200mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action Phylobid 200mg Tablet is a bronchodilator. It works by relaxing the muscles of the airways. This opens the airways and makes breathing easier.
