| Kidney | Penbus-O 40mg/4mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Penbus-O 40mg/4mg Tablet is recommended.However, inform your doctor if you have an underlying kidney disease. Limited information is available in patients taking this medicine for more than one day. |

| Mechanism of action | Penbus-O 40mg/4mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Pantoprazole and Ondansetron. Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in the relief of acid-related indigestion and heartburn. Ondansetron is an antiemetic (anti-nausea medicine). It inhibits the action of serotonin, a chemical messenger that can trigger nausea and vomiting. |
