Pregnancy Interaction Pbf Vaginal gel may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction Pbf Vaginal gel is probably safe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.The baby's skin should not come into direct contact with the treated area of skin. Water-miscible cream/gel is preferred as ointments may expose the baby to harmful effects of Pbf Vaginal gel via licking.
Common Side Effect Application site reactions (burning, irritation, itching and redness).
How to Use This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the gel. Wash your hands after applying.
Driving It is not known whether Pbf Vaginal gel alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Kidney Pbf Vaginal gel is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Pbf Vaginal gel may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Mechanism of action Pbf Vaginal gel is a combination of three medicines: Clotrimazole Topical, Ofloxacin Topical and Ornidazole Topical which treat skin infections. Clotrimazole Topical is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their own protective covering. Ofloxacin Topical is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. Ornidazole Topical is also is an antibiotic which kills the bacteria and other microorganisms by damaging the DNA. Together, they treat your infection effectively.
