Alchohol Interaction Noragyl O Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heartbeat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure with alcohol (Disulfiram reactions).
Pregnancy Interaction Noragyl O Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction Noragyl O Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. \nLimited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Common Side Effect Nausea, Dryness in mouth, Metallic taste, Headache.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Noragyl O Tablet is to be taken with food.Taking it empty stomach can cause stomach upset.
Driving Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Noragyl O Tablet may make you feel sleepy, dizzy, confused. You may have hallucinations, fits (convulsions) or temporary eyesight problems (such as blurred or double vision) affecting your ability to drive.
Kidney Noragyl O Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Noragyl O Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Noragyl O Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Noragyl O Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action Noragyl O Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics: Ofloxacin and Metronidazole.tOfloxacin kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. Metronidazole kills the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging the DNA. Together, they treat your infection effectively.
