Common Side Effect | Sleepiness, Headache, Flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck and trunk), Ankle swelling, Slow heart rate, Tiredness, Palpitations, Nausea, Edema (swelling), Constipation, Cold extremities. |
How to Use | Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nodon AM 5 mg/5 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. |
Driving | Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Nodon AM 5 mg/5 mg Tablet may cause side effects such as dizziness, headaches, nausea or tiredness, all of which could affect your ability to concentrate and drive. |
Kidney | Nodon AM 5 mg/5 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Nodon AM 5 mg/5 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. |
Liver | Nodon AM 5 mg/5 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Nodon AM 5 mg/5 mg Tablet may be needed. Mechanism of action | Nodon AM 5 mg/5 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Nebivolol and amlodipine which lower blood pressure effectively. Nebivolol is a beta blocker that works specifically on the heart to slow down the heart rate while amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker which works by relaxing blood vessels. Together, they make the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body. |
