Alchohol Interaction Taking Aceclofenac+Paracetamol / Acetaminophen+Tizanidine with alcohol can cause liver damage.
Pregnancy Interaction Movon-MR Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation Interaction No information is available on the use of Movon-MR Tablet during lactation. Please consult your doctor.
Common Side Effect Vomiting, Nausea, Heartburn, Stomach pain, Diarrhoea, Loss of appetite, Weakness, Sleepiness, Dryness in mouth.
How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Movon-MR Tablet is to be taken with food.This will help to avoid acidity and heartburn.
Driving Movon-MR Tablet may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
Kidney Movon-MR Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Movon-MR Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver Movon-MR Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Movon-MR Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Movon-MR Tablet is not advised in patients with severe liver disease. Liver function tests are recommended before the start of treatment and then on a regular basis as advised.
Mechanism of action Movon-MR Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Aceclofenac, Paracetamol / Acetaminophen and Tizanidine which relieve pain and relax the muscles. Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID) and Paracetamol / Acetaminophen is an antipyretic (fever reducer). They work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and fever. Tizanidine is a muscle relaxant. It works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and to improve pain and movement of muscles.
