| How to Use | Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Mortega Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. |
| Driving | It is not known whether Mortega Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react. |
| Kidney | Mortega Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Mortega Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. |

| Mechanism of action | Mortega Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Cefixime and Sulbactam.tCefixime is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Sulbactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which blocks the action of enzymes produced by bacteria to inactivate Cefixime. Addition of Sulbactam reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Cefixime against bacteria. |
