| How to Use | Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. MARAX CAPSULE may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Take this medicine 1 hour before or 2 hours after food. You can take it with food if stomach upset occurs. |
| Driving | MARAX CAPSULE may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive. |

| Mechanism of action | MARAX CAPSULE is a combination of three medicines: Ephedrine, hydroxyzine and theophylline. Ephedrine is a sympathomimetic agonist which works on the blood vessels and increases the blood flow to heart and lungs. Hydroxyzine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Theophylline is a bronchodilator. It works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widens airways. Together, they make breathing easier. |
