| Common Side Effect | Tiredness, Headache, Nausea, Dryness in mouth, Diarrhoea, Peripheral neuropathy (tingling and numbness of feet and hand), Fever, Insomnia (difficulty in sleeping). |
| How to Use | Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Lamivir S 150mg/60mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.Take it preferably one hour before or 2 hours after food. |
| Driving | Lamivir S 150mg/60mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive. |
| Kidney | Lamivir S 150mg/60mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Lamivir S 150mg/60mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. |
| Liver | Lamivir S 150mg/60mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Lamivir S 150mg/60mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.Inform your doctor if you develop any signs and symptoms of jaundice while taking Lamivir S 150mg/60mg Tablet. You may need to stop taking this medicine. |
| Mechanism of action | Lamivir S 150mg/60mg Tablet is a combination of two anti-HIV medicines: Lamivudine and Stavudine. They prevent HIV (virus) from multiplying, thereby reducing the amount of virus in your body. They also increase the CD4 cell (white blood cells that protect against infection) count in your blood. |
