How to Use Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Freeflam Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Driving It is not known whether Freeflam Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Kidney There is limited information available on the use of Freeflam Tablet in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.
Liver There is limited information available on the use of Freeflam Tablet in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.
Mechanism of action Freeflam Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Glucosamine and Chondroitin which treat osteoarthritis. They are proteoglycan synthesis stimulators which help in the formation of cartilage (the soft tissue around the joints) leading to joint repair. Apart from this, Chondroitin also lowers inflammation (swelling) of the joints.
